We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised individual with research experience to support clinical trials within the Research and Innovation team at the Redwoods Centre, Shrewsbury. The role involves supporting research engagement in primary care and community settings, including the operation of our research bus.
This position covers research in various mental health and physical health fields.

You will recruit, educate, and monitor trial participants, ensuring accurate data collection and sample management.

Travel across the Trust and operate our mobile research unit will be required.

You will manage your own portfolio of clinical research studies, supported by senior staff.
You will recruit participants through various routes in hospital and community settings.
You will deliver complex research projects on time, working with the Research Governance team to ensure all approvals are in place before starting studies.
You will communicate effectively with clinical services, primary care, and community organizations to ensure safe and effective research delivery.
You will evaluate research protocols and clearly communicate trial information to participants.
You will oversee the research-related care of participants across different health specialties.
This role requires a DBS check due to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
