Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Band 5 Respiratory Research Nurse (1.0 WTE, 1x 0.8 WTE) to join our expanding clinical research delivery teams in Bristol. You will support a portfolio of respiratory studies, screen and recruit patients, perform follow-up visits, collect and manage data, and ensure compliance with study protocols.
Training and development opportunities are provided within the regional Research Delivery Competency Framework.

Our research delivery teams are supportive, highly motivated multi-disciplinary teams providing clinical research opportunities across a wide range of clinical settings and specialties. These posts are ideal for those who wish to build on their existing clinical experience or who simply have an interest in delivering research which contributes to the development of evidence-based patient care. If you are dedicated, enthusiastic, with exceptional organisational skills, planning, and attention to detail then this may be the ideal opportunity for you.
You would work alongside experienced research delivery colleagues to support a portfolio of both commercial and non-commercial research. You will be offered training and development, including progression through the regional Research Delivery Competency Framework, as well as specialty specific training and development.

We are excited to offer opportunities to join our Respiratory Research Team, supporting a diverse portfolio of studies across respiratory medicine. These roles would be particularly well suited to individuals who already have an interest in and understanding of respiratory care and are keen to expand their knowledge and skills within clinical research.
This role would be ideal for someone with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a genuine interest in respiratory. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, and open to learning new skills in a dynamic research environment.
