Zusammenfassung

The University of Manchester is seeking a Research Impact Associate to lead evidence-building for open-source research outputs. You will design qualitative and quantitative studies, engage external audiences, and translate results into actionable REF impact recommendations for the faculty.

You will work with the impact team, prepare reports, and contribute to policy discussions on research impact evaluation while supporting open-source resources’ broader value demonstration.

Qualifikationen

• PhD or equivalent research experience required.
• Experience designing and evaluating data-collection methods.
• Experience engaging external audiences and stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Design and apply qualitative and quantitative research techniques to understand how open-access resources are used by external users.
• Coordinate activity and translate findings into practical recommendations for impact evaluation.
• Develop training and publish methodological findings for REF impact evaluation.
• Present findings to senior stakeholders and contribute to strategic discussions.
