About the role

The insight team’s mission is to influence Tesco to make confident decisions because we understand Customers and Colleagues better than anyone. Our key priorities are setting the customer agenda, commercialising insight, storytelling and democratising insight across the business.

In this role, you will use expertise in market research to develop insights about Customers, Competitors, or the Market that align with the needs of the business.

• Annual bonus scheme of up to 10% of base salary
• Holiday starting at 25 days plus a personal day (plus Bank holidays)

You will be responsible for

• Supporting the delivery of high-quality, robust, and impactful research projects with actionable recommendations in a fast-paced business environment.
• Translating research findings to answer business questions, using storytelling skills to bring insights to life.
• Delivering research projects via in-house tools (creating questionnaires, analyzing results) and agency partners (briefing and project management).
• Collaborating with other Researchers, Insight Managers, and agency partners to devise the best research approaches and methods. Be an active participant in this community.
• Supporting the development of future tools and capabilities within the Insight team.

You will need

• Strong analytical, data interpretation, and visualization skills.
• Experience scripting questionnaires and analyzing survey results.
• Experience managing end-to-end research projects in an agency setting.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Commercial awareness and curiosity about customers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
