Job summary

The University of Oxford's Faculty of History, based at the Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities in Oxford, is recruiting a full-time, fixed-term Research Degrees Officer. The role supports the progression of 350 postgraduate research students and provides expert administration to the Academic Administration Manager, Education Manager and Director of Graduate Studies.

This post is maternity cover and could be considered as a secondment opportunity.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, preferably in higher education.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Faculty's postgraduate research degrees (PGR) portfolio.
• Provide expert advice and administration to key managers and the Director of Graduate Studies.
