Job summary

University of Manchester seeks a motivated PDRA in Solid-State NMR Spectroscopy within the MoSS programme. The postdoctoral role involves driving research on molecular solid solutions with partners at Durham and Leeds, developing experiments and analyses, and publishing results.

The successful candidate will work in the Chemical Engineering department, collaborating across a UK consortium, and contributing to network events and research placements.

Qualifications

• Essential: PhD in physical sciences or related subject.
• Experience with multinuclear solid-state NMR spectroscopy (e.g. 1H, 2H, 13C, 15N, 17O, 19F).
• Good data analysis skills and ability to publish.
• Ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and collaborative research projects.
• Develop research objectives and proposals for own or joint research.
• Write up research work for publication.
• Update knowledge in field or related subjects.
