Qualifications

• Hold a PhD or be close to completion in materials science, engineering, tribology or related field.
• Experience in steel processing, advanced characterization, mechanical testing, and materials modelling.

Responsibilities

• Carry out research tasks focused on project delivery under academic leads.
• Quantitatively characterize materials and model steel performance under application conditions.
• Collaborate with IGNITE team and industrial sponsors; write papers and present findings.
