The Glasgow Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre operated by Scottish SPCA is seeking an Animal Care Assistant to provide a safe environment for animals and assist with finding loving new homes.

You will feed, groom, clean and exercise animals, monitor welfare, perform health checks and support the vet team as required. PVG check is required.

This permanent, full-time role is 37.5 hours per week with weekend shifts on a rota.

Responsabilités

• Provide a safe environment for animals in the ARRC and support rehoming efforts
• Feed, groom, clean and exercise animals according to individual needs
• Conduct routine health checks and support vet-approved care when required
• Maintain accurate animal records and care plans
• Assist with home checks for rehoming and participate in on-call rota if needed
• Promote Scottish SPCA membership when appropriate
