inspiring vet care is seeking an Animal Care Assistant for a full-time fixed-term 12‑month role at Clydebank, just west of Glasgow. You will support the clinical team, handle patients, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment in a modern practice with great transport links.

Qualifications

• You’ll be a reliable, team‑oriented person with a genuine interest in animal welfare.
• Good communication and collaboration with colleagues and clients is essential.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage tasks in a busy environment.
• A proactive attitude to learning and openness to feedback and development.
• Experience of working with animals in a clinical or non‑clinical setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inpatient care and patient handling under supervision.
• Support the clinical team to maintain a clean, safe environment and equipment.
• Set up theatre and assist with surgical procedures as needed.
• Contribute to a positive and compassionate experience for patients and clients.
