Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group is seeking a Requirements Engineer for major nuclear engineering programmes in Aldermaston, Berkshire. Hybrid role with 1-2 days on site, contract through to June 2027, with a rate up to £55ph outside IR35.

You will capture, analyse and develop technical requirements, translate stakeholder needs into clear technical requirements and support verification, validation, architecture and lifecycle planning, while preparing technical reports and documentation.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Background in Mechanical, Electrical, EC&I or Systems Engineering.
• Experience in requirements capture and management.
• Experience in a regulated or safety-critical environment.
• DOORS experience desirable.
• SC Clearance minimum; DV Eligible.
• Nuclear experience beneficial, not essential.

SC minimum

Are you a Mechanical, Electrical, EC&I or Systems Engineer with requirements capture experience?

Have you worked on complex engineering projects in a regulated or safety-critical environment?

Do you have experience with systems engineering methods or requirements management tools?

You'll be working on major nuclear engineering programmes, supporting project teams with requirements capture and systems engineering. We're open to Mechanical, Electrical, EC&I and Systems Engineers with relevant experience, not just career Requirements Engineers.

• Requirements capture, analysis or management experience
• Understanding of systems engineering and lifecycle processes
• Experience in a regulated or safety-critical environment
• DOORS experience desirable
