Job summary

Assystem in the United Kingdom is seeking a Requirements Engineer to help shape Defence infrastructure, ensuring replacement and refurbishment of plant and equipment meets modern standards and regulations.

You will manage requirements across multi-discipline projects, lead interface management between engineering teams, and collaborate with mechanical, electrical and process systems using requirements management software. Hybrid work: 3 days in Glasgow, 2 days WFH.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant Engineering or Scientific discipline.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (or working towards).

Responsibilities

• Manage requirements and acceptance processes across multi-discipline projects.
• Produce and maintain detailed requirement specifications.
• Lead interface management between engineering teams.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and process systems.
• Utilise requirements management software effectively.
• Support Project Engineers and Project Managers with expert guidance.
• Conduct regular project governance reviews.
• Assess technical deliverables from consultants and contractors.
