Job summary

High Finance (UK) Limited T/A HFG seeks an experienced Reporting Accountant to join its London Finance team on a fixed-term basis. The role covers statutory reporting, month-end and quarter-end close, reconciliations and audit support across multiple entities.

The successful candidate will prepare statutory statements, liaise with external auditors, finalise trial balances, review cash journals and perform balance sheet reconciliations to support quarterly group reporting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a finance role at an insurance business.
• Strong knowledge of insurance accounting.
• Proven experience preparing statutory accounts.
• Proven experience with financial data reconciliation.

A leading speciality insurance organisation is seeking an experienced Reporting Accountant to join its Finance team in London on a fixed-term basis.

In this Reporting Accountant role, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing statutory financial statements for multiple entities.
• Liaison with external auditors.

• Previous experience in a finance role at an insurance business
• Strong knowledge of insurance accounting.
• Proven experience preparing statutory accounts.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Proven experience with financial data reconciliation.

Desirable:

• Experience within the Lloyd's market and/or company market.
• Experience working across multiple legal entities.
