Job summary

Onward Repairs is the in‑house repairs and maintenance service for Onward Homes, delivering responsive repairs, planned works and void services across the region. We seek a strong supervisor to lead the Repairs/Voids teams, manage the supply chain, and ensure high-quality work within agreed timescales.

The role requires a background in trades, a CSCS card, and health and safety qualifications with a focus on efficiency and service levels. Liverpool-based with on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to supervise and manage Responsive repairs and Void operatives.
• Experience of managing a similar construction trade based maintenance business.
• Commercial knowledge and understanding.
• Ability to supervise productivity, resources and work-planning.
• Ability to supervise an effective supply chain.
• Previous trade background.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and organise the Responsive Repairs/Voids Team and supply chain to deliver the work required.
• Carry out Pre termination and Void inspections.
• Ensure key operational and financial targets are achieved in line with business aims.
• Directly manage productivity and IT systems for optimal resource use.
• Undertake quality control and assurance on work and progress inspections.
• Ensure safe methods of working and appropriate training for the teams.
• Implement new streams of business to maximise value for money.
