Job summary

Amplius is seeking a Repairs Surveyor to oversee the delivery of high-quality repair services across homes. This role involves inspections, managing property defects, and ensuring customer satisfaction while working collaboratively across teams.

Qualifications include a relevant building qualification and strong understanding of repairs. You will also need excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a full UK driving license. This position is mainly home-based with regular site visits and team days in Peterborough.

Job description

As a Repairs Surveyor, you’ll oversee the delivery of high-quality repair and void services, making sure all work meets Amplius standards while creating a positive experience for customers. If you’re passionate about excellent service and making a meaningful difference to people’s homes, this could be the perfect role for you.

Salary: £44,858.80 per year (plus car allowance of £2,750.28)

Contract: Permanent, full time

Your week: 36.25hrs Monday - Friday 9am – 5.15pm

Location: Home-based with site visits across Amplius’ central region 4 days per week, as well as monthly team days at the Peterborough office (Please refer to the attached document below for more information on the locations covered within our Central Region)

Snapshot of your role

• Identify and manage property defects in customer homes, ensuring repairs are completed to a high standard.
• Carry out inspections and surveys, providing clear written reports and recommending the best solutions.
• Review and respond to customer complaints, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and promises are kept.
• Monitor contractor and service performance, including KPIs such as first‑time fix, customer satisfaction and completion times.
• Undertake quality checks on completed works, ensuring compliance with health & safety, building regulations and internal standards.
• Work collaboratively across teams, contributing to the overall performance of our homes and improving the customer repair experience.
