Job summary

18 Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Repairs Supervisor for a social housing portfolio in Birmingham. You will lead a team of operatives delivering responsive repairs, planned maintenance and void refurbishment, ensuring safety, quality and excellent resident service.

The role requires strong leadership, multi-trade knowledge, and the ability to manage workloads and KPIs while liaising with residents and contractors. A CSCS card and relevant SMSTS/ IOSH qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience in social housing repairs and maintenance.
• Proven ability to lead operatives and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of responsive repairs, planned maintenance and voids.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of multi-trade operatives, subcontractors and engineers.
• Manage responsive repairs, planned maintenance and void refurbishment programmes.
• Allocate workloads and track KPIs and service levels.
• Conduct inspections and ensure quality and safety compliance.
