Job summary

18 Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Repairs Supervisor to lead a team delivering responsive repairs, planned maintenance and void refurbishments across social housing properties. You will ensure high-quality work, safety compliance and excellent resident service.

Key duties include supervising operatives, coordinating workloads, inspecting works, and driving performance KPIs. A CSCS card and safety qualifications are preferred. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Repairs Supervisor in social housing repairs and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge across multiple trades and H&S compliance.
• Experience managing operatives, subcontractors and maintenance teams.
• Familiar with RAMS, KPI tracking and service reporting.
• CSCS and relevant safety qualifications completed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of multi-trade operatives, subcontractors and engineers.
• Manage responsive repairs, planned maintenance and void works.
• Allocate workloads, monitor productivity and meet KPIs.
• Conduct inspections and ensure quality and safety standards.
• Provide technical guidance across trades and liaise with residents and clients.
• Monitor costs, reports, timesheets and field management systems.
• Drive continuous service performance improvements and attend meetings.
