Job summary

WPS in Birmingham is seeking a proactive Repairs Supervisor to oversee responsive maintenance across social housing properties. You will lead a team of operatives, ensure work is delivered safely and to a high standard, and report on progress and quality against targets.

You will manage day-to-day repairs, void works, and planned programmes, coordinating with tenants, housing teams, and external contractors while keeping health and safety at the forefront.

Qualifications

• SSSTS certification (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) is essential.
• Experience in social housing maintenance, including reactive repairs and voids.
• Strong understanding of multiple trades including kitchens, bathrooms, electrical, and general building.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• A full UK driving licence.
