Job summary

Insight, acting for a Northamptonshire local authority, is seeking a repairs commercial manager to lead the commercial, contractual and financial aspects of the repairs portfolio.

You will manage budgets, forecasts and CVRs, oversee contractor payments and retention, and work with procurement, finance and other stakeholders to drive value for money through compliant supply chain management. Hybrid working and a Local Government Pension Scheme are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience handling commercial, contractual and financial aspects of repairs contracts.
• Strong budgeting and forecasting skills.
• Ability to manage supplier payments and retention monies.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial, contractual and financial aspects of the repairs business.
• Oversee monthly contractor payment applications and retention monies.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, CVRs, forecasts and annual budgets.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Finance teams and other stakeholders to maximise value for money.
