Job summary

Northamptonshire Partnership Homes is seeking a Repairs Commercial Manager to take ownership of the commercial, contractual and financial management of its repairs and voids activity. You will work closely with Repairs, Procurement and Finance to strengthen controls, manage risk and ensure value for money across the service.

The role involves budget forecasting, CVRs, contract management, and overseeing subcontractor payments and frameworks.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial management experience within housing/repairs.
• Strong contract management knowledge (NEC/JCT).
• Financial, analytical and commercial skills demonstrated.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and challenge constructively.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the commercial performance of the repairs service.
• Manage budget forecasting and annual budgeting; CVRs.
• Assess and certify contractor payment applications; manage invoice approvals.
• Oversee subcontractor and supply chain commercial controls.
• Collaborate with Procurement on frameworks, tenders and appointments.
• Support repairs teams on contractual and commercial matters.
• Drive value for money and greater commercial control across the service.
