Job summary

The Rents and Service Charge Manager role at Ealing Council is a full-time post responsible for calculating and setting annual rents and service charges across our residential and commercial stock.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, drive continuous improvement, ensure regulatory compliance with the Regulator of Housing Rent Standard and the Landlord and Tenant Act, and deliver a high-performing, resident-focused service that maximises income for the HRA.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and set annual rents and service charges for existing and new stock across residential and commercial portfolio.
• Provide operational management and performance oversight of the rent and service charge function.
• Ensure compliance with Regulator of Housing Rent Standard.
• Ensure compliance with the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 & 1987.
• Deliver a high-performing and customer-focused service.
• Maintain strong financial control and income maximisation within the HRA.
