Arnold Clark is hiring a Driver/Valeter at the Manchester Airport site. You will ensure vehicles are presented in pristine condition and contribute to a fast-paced, active role.

The position suits someone with a keen eye for detail, a strong team spirit, and a willingness to train. Full-time hours include Monday to Friday 9am–6pm with 1 in 4 weekends.

Qualifications

• This role requires a valid UK driving licence and a high level of attention to detail.
• Candidates should be self-motivated and able to work well in a team.
• Ability to multi-task and participate in training programmes.

Responsabilités

• Clean sold and stock vehicles to a high standard.
• Use pressure washer and vacuum to clean vehicles.
• Polish/buff bodywork to enhance appearance.
• Drive to collect and deliver vehicles to customers and branches.
• Follow health and safety procedures when using chemicals.
• Maintain equipment and machinery and report defects.
• Work to set timeframes and targets.
• Complete a daily record of work.

Full time: Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm and 1 in 4 weekends

About The Role

As an Arnold Clark Driver/Valeter, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all our vehicles are presented in the best possible condition.

This position will be a perfect fit for someone who enjoys working in an active, physical role, has excellent attention to detail and is a fantastic team player.

Day-to-day duties

• Cleaning sold and stock vehicles to a high standard.
• Cleaning vehicles with a high-powered pressure washer and vacuum.
• Working with a polishing/buffing machine to enhance bodywork.
• Driving to collect and deliver vehicles to customers and branches.
• Complying with health and safety procedures while working with chemicals.
• Making sure that all equipment and machinery is properly maintained and secure, reporting any defects and complying with manufacturers’ instructions and PPE recommendations.
• Working to set timeframes and targets.
• Completing a daily record of work.

Essential Requirements

• Full UK driving licence
• High level of attention to detail
• Self-motivation with the ability to work as part of a team
• The ability to multi-task
• Willingness to participate in training programmes

Valet experience is preferred, but training can be provided for a candidate who demonstrates a high level of enthusiasm and the other required criteria. Arnold Clark also operates a Valet Academy which all new valet staff will attend.
