Job summary

Arnold Clark Mount Vernon Car & Van Rental in Glasgow is seeking an organised Rental Customer Advisor to support a busy branch. You’ll deliver high levels of customer service face-to-face and by phone, handling enquiries and bookings.

This role requires a flexible, enthusiastic team player with strong administrative and communication skills, and the ability to work a 45-hour week over five days with alternate weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts on a rota basis seven days per week.
• Holder of a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a consistently excellent level of customer care, both face to face and on the telephone
• Using your brilliant communication and organisational skills to ensure all tasks are completed effectively and efficiently
• Handling customer complaints and queries
• Monitoring and controlling expenditure
• Running daily reports and ensuring they’re acted on
• Helping to promote the branch and a positive customer experience
• Occasionally covering at other branches when needed

Hours
Full time: 45 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 and alternate weekends
About The Role
As part of a busy Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental team, you’ll work with management and other staff members to deliver the excellent service levels our customers expect from us.
The right person for this varied role will be flexible, organised and committed to providing a high standard of customer service at all times.
Day-to-day duties
