Job summary

Arnold Clark in Aberdeen is seeking an organised Rental Customer Advisor to join our Car & Van Rental team. The role focuses on delivering outstanding service to customers both in person and by phone, with a mix of front-line support and administrative tasks.

The successful candidate will be flexible, work well in a team, and handle a rota that includes Saturdays and Sundays. A full UK driving licence is required.

• Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
• Excellent communication and team-working skills.
• Willingness to work Saturday/Sunday shifts on a rota basis and UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consistently excellent customer care in person and on the telephone.
• Process enquiries and resolve customer issues efficiently.
• Manage daily reports and assist with branch administration.
• Support branch promotion and a positive customer experience.
• Occasionally cover other branches when needed.

Hours

Part Time: Saturday 7.30am - 5pm, Sunday 8am - 4.30pm plus 2 weekdays (days to be confirmed).

About The Role

As part of a busy Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental team, you’ll work with management and other staff members to deliver the excellent service levels our customers expect from us.

The right person for this varied role will be flexible, organised and committed to providing a high standard of customer service at all times.

Day-to-day duties

• Delivering a consistently excellent level of customer care, both face to face and on the telephone
• Using your brilliant communication and organisational skills to ensure all tasks are completed effectively and efficiently
• Handling customer complaints and queries
• Monitoring and controlling expenditureRunning daily reports and ensuring they’re acted on
• Helping to promote the branch and a positive customer experience
• Occasionally covering at other branches when needed

Essential Skills

• Strong administrative skills
• Demonstrable ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• The flexibility to work shifts on a rota basis seven days per week and also cover other branches
• A full UK driving licence

Nice To Have (but Not Essential)

• Previous experience of working in the rental industry
