Job summary

SF Partners in Coventry is recruiting an experienced rent arrears officer for a housing organisation. You will support the team with an acquisition, handle rent arrears and income-related queries, and work with customers to resolve balances and agree affordable repayment arrangements. Hybrid working, with 2–3 days in the Coventry office each week.

Full-time hours, normally 9am-5pm, with some flexibility on start and finish times. On-site parking available.

Qualifications

• Previous rent arrears experience is essential.
• Understanding of arrears collection and managing cases at the pre-legal stage.
• Confidence handling sensitive conversations and negotiating repayments.

What You'll Bring

• A good working understanding of arrears collection and managing cases at the pre-legal stage.
• Confidence handling sensitive conversations and negotiating repayments.
• The ability to manage your workload and get up to speed quickly.
• Training will be provided on systems and internal processes, so experience of a particular housing system isn't required.
