Job summary

METLEN Energy & Metals seeks a Project Planner to support its M Renewables Division across the United Kingdom. You will develop and manage schedules for utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects, aligning programme, cost and resources with project delivery teams.

Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, you will drive baseline schedules, risk analyses and stakeholder reporting across multiple projects to ensure on-time delivery and audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in project planning or project controls within construction or energy infrastructure.
• Strong experience with MS Project; Primavera P6 is advantageous.
• Experience in schedule validation, scenario analysis, and progress reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project and/or Primavera P6 across EPC phases.
• Establish baselines, perform critical path analysis, float management and schedule validation.
• Conduct scenario and what-if analyses to assess programme risks with stakeholders.
• Lead project controls activities: progress tracking, forecasting and portfolio reporting.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports with narratives, KPIs, S-curves and dashboards.
