Job summary

ScottishPower Renewables is seeking a commercially minded Project Manager Origination to identify and secure new renewable energy opportunities across the UK and ROI. You will lead projects from site identification through to handover into development, coordinating internal specialists, landowners and external partners.

Essentially, you will combine commercial negotiation and strategic thinking with project leadership, aiming to contribute to ScotlandPower's ambitious growth in a leading

Qualifications

• Renewable energy development experience desirable.
• Land acquisition or land management experience desirable.
• Planning and development experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new renewable energy development opportunities across the UK and ROI.
• Lead site searches and feasibility studies including grid capacity, energy resource, access constraints and deliverability.
• Negotiate and secure land rights, exclusivity agreements and commercial arrangements with landowners and representatives.
• Manage due diligence and prepare submissions for land tenders and acquisitions.
• Develop strategies to maximise value from new and existing opportunities.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams for informed decision-making.
• Manage project reporting and governance requirements.
• Support commercial strategy, process improvements and budget management within Origination.
