Job summary

ScottishPower Renewables, part of Iberdrola Group, seeks a commercially minded Project Manager to identify and secure new renewable energy opportunities across the UK and ROI, at the front end of the development pipeline.

You will own opportunities from site identification through to handover into development, coordinating internal specialists, landowners and external partners, and leading negotiations and due diligence.

Qualifications

• Experience in renewable energy development and land management.
• Strong commercial negotiation and influencing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Knowledge of land agreements and development concepts.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess new development opportunities across the UK & ROI.
• Lead site searches and feasibility studies, including grid capacity and deliverability.
• Negotiate land rights and exclusive agreements with landowners.
• Manage due diligence and submissions for land tenders and acquisitions.
• Develop strategies to maximise value from opportunities.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams for informed decision-making.
• Manage project reporting, governance and budgets within Origination.
• Support commercial strategy and process improvements across Origination.
• Promote health, safety and environmental responsibility.
