Job summary

Richard Irvin FM Limited is recruiting a Renewable Heating Engineer to join our team in Wigan. This full-time, permanent role focuses on service, maintenance and installation of renewable heating systems for commercial projects.

We require proven plumbing experience (5+ years), gas qualifications, safety certifications, and knowledge of water regulations and Legionella awareness. A strong math ability is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years proven experience as a plumber/commercial plumber
• G3 unvented
• Water regs
• Legionella awareness
• Level 5/6/7 in gas or NVQ 3/4/5
• Electrical safe isolation and knowledge of 18th edition
• ACS plumbing and gas
• FGAS
• BPEC certified (advantageous) in renewable heating installation and maintenance
• Proficiency in basic math for measurements and calculations

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance of ASHP and GSHP
• Install renewable and gas plumbing systems in new construction projects or renovations
• Commercial experience required and certified
• Inspect and repair water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures
