Job summary

Rock Recruitment is recruiting a Heating Engineer to join a growing renewable energy business serving the South of England. The role blends traditional gas and oil heating work with renewables, including air and ground source heat pumps, for domestic and commercial properties.

The successful candidate will install, service and commission heat pumps and heating systems, with full training provided on renewable technologies. A valid Gas Safe registration and ACS qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Gas Safe registration is essential.
• Level 2/3 NVQ or equivalent heating qualification required.
• ACS qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT and HTR1 must be held.
• Unvented Hot Water qualification is required or desirable.

Responsibilities

• Installing and commissioning air and ground source heat pumps
• Servicing heat pumps and domestic gas and oil heating systems
• Carrying out domestic gas heating installations
• Completing relevant servicing, installation and compliance paperwork
• Ensuring all work meets industry standards and safety regulations
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of workmanship

Heating Engineer

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: £38,000-£45,000 depending on experience and qualifications

We are recruiting for a Heating Engineer to join an established and growing renewable energy business specialising in heating, solar PV and low-carbon energy solutions across the South of England.

This is a varied role combining traditional gas and oil heating work with renewable technologies, including air and ground source heat pumps. You'll be carrying out installations, servicing and commissioning across domestic and commercial properties, with full training provided on renewable heating systems.

What you'll be doing

• Installing and commissioning air and ground source heat pumps
• Servicing heat pumps and domestic gas and oil heating systems
• Carrying out domestic gas heating installations
• Completing relevant servicing, installation and compliance paperwork
• Ensuring all work meets industry standards and safety regulations
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of workmanship

What you'll need
