Job summary

East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust is recruiting a Nurse Team Leader for Ward 6B in Stevenage. You will lead a 25-bed renal unit, oversee patient care and coordinate transfers with the Ward Manager, while developing staff competencies and ensuring high standards of practice.

You will support the introduction of dialysis-related care, contribute to service improvements, and promote our core values of Include, Respect and Improve in daily practice.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration as a registered nurse.
• Evidence of a leadership course or leadership role.
• Mentorship or preceptorship training completed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Ward 6B with 25 beds and coordinate patient care.
• Develop and review competencies, protocols and care pathways.
• Support junior staff in developing skills and manage weekend PD information service.
