You will work closely with the Ward Manager to develop competencies, monitor care pathways and ensure the unit operates to the highest standards. The role requires leadership, strong communication, and robust organisational skills within a busy NHS setting.

Qualificações

• Registered nurse on Part 1 or Part 12 of the NMC register.
• Experience in renal medicine and managing a ward.
• Leadership experience or course.

Responsabilidades

• Manage Ward 6B (25 beds) and supervise nursing staff.
• Promote high standards of professional practice and care delivery.
• Develop and review competencies, protocols and care pathways within the department.
• Oversee peritoneal dialysis information service during weekends and out of hours.
