University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking a Staff Nurse for Ward 30, Glenfield Hospital, a specialised renal unit. You will contribute to care for patients with renal conditions, including haemodialysis, within a multidisciplinary team, developing renal nursing skills and ensuring safe, patient-centred care.

Qualificações

• Applicants must have 12 months post-registration NHS experience as a qualified Registered Nurse in an acute clinical setting.
• Applications from newly qualified nurses will not be considered for this post.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality, safe, and effective nursing care to patients with acute and chronic renal conditions.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans for patients.
• Provide care for patients receiving haemodialysis, including monitoring during treatment and responding to complications.
• Manage patients with acute kidney injury and complex renal conditions, including Level 2 care and enhanced monitoring.
• Accurately monitor observations, fluid balance and clinical parameters, and escalate deterioration as needed.
• Administer medications safely in line with Trust policies, including intravenous therapies and renal medications.
