Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care Sparkhill is seeking a part-time Healthcare Assistant (23 hours/week) to support our renal department. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will prepare, restore and maintain areas and equipment for clinical treatments, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.

The role involves walking between patients and some lifting. We provide regular training to develop knowledge of procedures and quality management.

Qualifications

• Healthcare background preferred; NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, prepare, restore and maintain areas and equipment for clinical treatments and investigations, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Extensive walking between patients and some lifting; training provided; develop knowledge of procedures and quality management; strong computer skills and good interpersonal abilities.
