Fresenius Medical Care in Bassetlaw Renal Department is seeking a proactive Healthcare Assistant to support nurses in dialysis settings. You'll prepare, maintain and sanitize treatment areas and equipment, and help ensure a safe, clean environment for patients, families and staff.
The role involves walking between patients, some lifting, and reception duties as required. Part-time position, 24 hours per week, with shifts Tue/Thu/Sat 06:30–12:30 and Mon/Wed/Fri 06:30–18:00.

We are seeking a pro‑active individual, ideally from a healthcare background and preferably with an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care to join our clinic as a Healthcare Assistant in Bassetlaw Dialysis Unit.
What does the role involve? Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will prepare, restore and maintain areas and equipment for clinical treatments and investigations, as well as generally ensuring that the treatment environment is safe for patients, relatives and visitors. This is an active role which involves extensive walking between patients throughout the clinic and some lifting responsibilities. However, we will provide regular training and guidance, so that you can develop your knowledge of company practice, procedures and quality management. Computer skills are essential, with good interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with the team.
This is a part‑time role of 24 hours a week. Current days are working various shifts between Mon/Wed/Fri 06:30 to 18:00. Tues/Thurs/Sat 06:30 to 12:30.
