Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Aston Cross Dialysis Unit is seeking a proactive Healthcare Assistant to support nurses and maintain a safe treatment environment. You will prepare areas and equipment for clinical treatments, and assist with investigations while upholding high care standards.

This full-time role (37.5 hours) involves walking between patients and some lifting; training is provided. Strong computer and interpersonal skills are essential to build good working relationships with the team

Qualifications

• Ideally from a healthcare background and NVQ Level 2 preferred.
• Computer skills are essential for daily duties.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build good working relationships with team and patients.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, prepare, restore and maintain areas and equipment for clinical treatments and investigations, ensuring a safe treatment environment.
• Active role with extensive walking between patients and some lifting; training provided to develop knowledge of procedures and quality management.
