Job summary

Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Renal Specialist Dietitian (Band 6) to strengthen our renal nutrition service across inpatient, outpatient and dialysis settings.

You will provide specialist dietetic care, work with the renal MDT, and support service development while supervising staff and contributing to audit and research activities. Some travel between sites may be required.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered and NHS experience required.
• Experience in renal dietetics and service development.
• Supervision of junior staff and students encouraged.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and CPD.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex dietetic care to renal patients across inpatient, outpatient and dialysis settings.
• Collaborate with the renal MDT and other professionals to optimise patient care.
• Support audit, research and service development within the dietetics service.
• Involve in training materials and supervision of staff.
