Fresenius Medical Care in Sparkhill is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support the renal department. Reporting to a Registered Nurse, you will prepare, restore and maintain treatment areas and equipment while ensuring safety for patients and visitors.

The role requires extensive walking and occasional lifting, with regular training provided. This part-time position offers shifts between 07:00 and 18:30, Monday to Saturday, across 23 hours per week.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care preferred.
• Healthcare background preferred.
• Ability to build strong working relationships within the team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, restore and maintain areas and equipment for clinical treatments and investigations.
• Ensure the treatment environment is safe for patients, relatives and visitors.
• Follow strict procedures and company practices; support with lifting and patient movement.
