Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Healthcare Assistant – Level 3 (Health and Social Care) to join the Crewe Dialysis Unit. You will support renal care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, handling dialysis equipment, monitoring patients and maintaining clean, well-stocked clinics.

The role is full-time (37.5 hours) across shifts from 06:30 to 18:00, Monday to Saturday, with training from an 8-week Fundamental Dialysis Programme and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in renal care is desirable.
• Willingness to learn dialysis procedures and related care.

Responsabilités

• Look after individual patients, preparing dialysis equipment for treatment, monitoring vital signs and assessing, cleaning and redressing catheter sites as required.
• Liaise with patients, their relatives and other visitors to the clinic.
• Ensure that equipment is kept clean and supplies are well-stocked, safely stored and used efficiently.
• Keep documentation up-to-date.
• Administer medication when required.
