Job summary

Pickfords is seeking a Driver/Porter for Gloucester-based relocation work, with travel to multiple sites and a supportive team. Training is provided and full-time hours apply, including overtime when needed.

Based at the warehouse, you will join a skilled team performing safe vehicle loading/unloading and furniture assembly tasks, with emphasis on health and safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Manual Handling and Customer Service skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent spoken English.
• Health & Safety Awareness.
• Risk Assessment Knowledge.
• Driving licence with “B1 entitlement” / Manual car license (essential).
• Good level of fitness.

Responsibilities

• Safe and successful completion of relocation tasks.
• Carry out point of work risk assessments as required.
• Assist in loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Carry out the safe assembly and dis-assembly of flat pack furniture.

This role is based in a warehouse (Gloucester) and traveling to multiple military sites. With no lone working you will always be part of a great team.

Current salary: £25974

Hours of Work

• Monday to Thursday 7:30am till 3:30pm
• Friday 7:30am till 14:30pm
• Extra hours maybe required to carry out some deliveries / collections, overtime will be paid.
