Pickfords is a fantastic national brand specialising in removals and storage, offering a full range of professional removals and storage services. This role is based in a warehouse in Bovington and involves travelling to multiple military sites with a team.

The salary shown reflects a current rate of £25,974 and a full-time, in-person schedule. We provide training for all staff, uniform and PPE, and opportunities for career progression.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the safe assembly and dis-assembly of flat pack furniture.

This role is based in a warehouse (Bovington) and traveling to multiple military sites. With no lone working you will always be part of a great team.

Current salary: £25974

Hours of work

• Monday to Thursday 7:30am till 3:30pm
• Friday 7:30am till 14:30pm
• Extra hours maybe required to carry out some deliveries / collections, overtime will be paid.

What we're looking for in our Driver/Porter

• Manual Handling and Customer Service skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Excellent spoken English
• Health & Safety Awareness
• Risk Assessment Knowledge
• Driving licence with “B1 entitlement” / Manual car license (essential)
• Good level of fitness

Responsibilities include
