Job summary

Pickfords in the United Kingdom is seeking a reliable and hardworking Driver (3.5T, LGV/HGV, 7.5T) and Porter to join our removals team. The role involves supporting domestic and commercial moves, including packing, loading and unloading vehicles, and delivering excellent customer service.

Candidates must hold a valid UK driving licence for all roles, with LGV/HGV Class 2 preferred but not essential as training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely pack, load, transport and unload customers' possessions.
• Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
• Work as part of a team and, where required, lead and support colleagues.
• Ensure Company health & safety and working procedures are followed.
• Complete vehicle and equipment checks where applicable.
• Liaise with customers and colleagues to ensure moves run smoothly.
• Support other operational duties as required.
