Job summary

Wardle & Keach International Limited in Northampton is seeking a professional 3.5 Tonne LGV Driver to join its removals logistics and storage team. You will drive 3.5-tonne LGV vehicles on local and national moves, assist with packing, loading, and unloading, and deliver a high standard of customer service.

The ideal candidate has a valid LGV Class 1 or 2 licence, CPC where required, and a minimum of 3 years driving experience. Training is provided and you will work as part of a friendly team.

Qualifications

• 3.5 tonne LGV Class 1 or Class 2 Licence required.
• Minimum 3 years LGV driving experience.
• Driving a Goods Vehicle 1 year (required).
• Clean licence or no more than 3 points.
• Right to live and work in the UK.
• No unspent criminal convictions.
• Driver CPC (required for Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers).
• Removals experience helpful but not essential as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Driving LGV vehicles for removals across local and national moves.
• Assisting the removals crew with packing, loading and unloading.
• Export wrapping and protecting customer goods.
• Dismantling and reassembling furniture where required.
• Working on local and national moves.
• Handing specialist VIP removal work.
• Delivering excellent customer service to clients.

We are looking to hire a professional and reliable 3.5 Tonne LGV Class 1 or Class 2 Driver to join our growing removals logistics and storage team based in Little Houghton, Northampton.

The role will suit a dependable and hardworking individual who enjoys being on the road and takes pride in delivering a professional service. You will be involved in a range of removals, collections and deliveries, working with both domestic and commercial customers across the UK.

The successful candidate will be confident handling a 3.5-tonne vehicle, comfortable working as part of a team and willing to get involved with the physical side of removals when required.
