Qualifications

• A degree in Youth Work is essential.
• An A1 Assessor Award, TAQA qualification or equivalent is preferred; however, this may be undertaken in the role.
• Functional Skills Level 2 in English, Maths and ICT, or equivalent.
• A teaching qualification such as CertEd or AET is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Induct learners and identify training and support needs to ensure appropriate training is provided.
• Review knowledge, skills and behaviours and develop an appropriate learning plan.
• Deliver apprenticeship programmes and plan OTJT to meet funding regulations.
• Prepare learners for End-Point Assessment and ensure competence across required methods.
• Conduct progress reviews with learners and their managers to monitor progress and evidence outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with funding and awarding bodies.
