Job summary

micro1 is seeking video editors to join a remote contractor project focused on reviewing and annotating video sessions of robotic arms performing real-world tasks. This role centers on AI training and data annotation rather than traditional editing.

You will identify actions, events, and outcomes with frame-by-frame precision, use annotation tools, and contribute to quality control, meeting batch deadlines.

Qualifications

• Background in video editing or related audiovisual field.
• Experience reviewing footage for timing, continuity, movement, and visual consistency.
• Experience with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut or Avid Media Composer.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy during repetitive frame-level review.
• Strong written communication to document observations clearly.
• Experience with video annotation or AI training projects is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review robotic-arm footage and annotate per customer guidelines.
• Label actions, object interactions, transitions, and outcomes.
• Apply frame-by-frame timing to determine action start/end.
• Use annotation tools to mark events precisely.
• Note unclear footage and document observations concisely.
• Support quality control by reviewing annotations.
• Complete assigned batches accurately and within deadlines.
