This on‑the‑job training role involves building our vehicle model, evaluating features against expectations, translating client feedback into clear specifications, and contributing to in‑house tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in race car vehicle dynamics, vehicle science, or vehicle modelling through internships, student projects, or work experience.
• Experience in numerical simulation, optimisation, control of nonlinear systems, or a related field.
• Prior coding experience in an object oriented language – C++ is an advantage.
• A desire to work remotely, with great written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with our team.

Responsibilities

• Developing our state‑of‑the‑art vehicle model and simulation tool in response to changing client requirements and motorsport regulations
• Evaluating the performance of new and existing features in the vehicle model and simulation tool against real‑world expectations to identify potential bugs and improve simulation results
• Liaising with clients to translate feedback and requests into clear written and verbal specifications for new features, and then implementing these features to enable clients to extract the best possible value from our tools
• Contributing to our suite of in‑house test, development, and visualisation tools used for automated validation of our software releases
