Job summary

Client Server Limited is seeking a Staff Engineer / Developer for a fully remote UK role, with WFH up to £90k. You will own architecture and guide cross-team delivery for a real-time energy trading platform, using TypeScript, Node.js, React and AWS. Expect hands-on work across the full SDLC and a strong focus on AI-assisted development.

The role is remote-first (UK based) with product-driven scope and opportunities to influence technical decisions and product direction as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Proficient in TypeScript, Node.js, React and AWS.
• Hands-on engineer at Staff Engineer level with product focus.
• Experience with distributed, scalable systems.
• Product-minded with cross-team collaboration and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical ownership across the team and set architectural direction.
• Contribute to product discussions with technical input.
• Be hands-on across the full SDLC: architecture, development, testing and deployment.
• Review AI-generated code and shape its usage to the product needs.
