ICON Strategic Solutions is seeking a RBSM Lead for the UK, with remote working options. You will provide end-to-end risk oversight for assigned clinical studies, ensuring patient safety, data quality and trial integrity throughout the study lifecycle.

In collaboration with the CRM and study team, you will chair cross-functional risk reviews, drive mitigation strategies, and support escalation and root-cause analysis. This role can be based anywhere in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical trial operations, study management, monitoring, or centralized oversight.
• Solid understanding of risk-based monitoring and study management principles.
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP, regulatory standards, and quality frameworks.
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, trends and signals.
• Effective communication and ability to work independently with sponsor and ICON teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead and maintain study-level risk assessments for assigned sponsor studies.
• Chair cross-functional risk review meetings with focus on critical data and processes.
• Identify, discuss and document study risks proactively.
• Coordinate with the CRM and study team to ensure mitigation actions are implemented.
• Review monitoring outputs, KRIs, KPIs, and trends to detect risks.
• Support issue escalation, root cause analysis, and risk mitigation planning.
• Ensure risk-based activities align with sponsor expectations.
• Contribute to inspection readiness through clear documentation and defensible oversight decisions.
