Job summary

Ryanair is seeking an experienced Outstations Engineer to oversee maintenance across Stansted, Birmingham or Manchester airports, coordinating with AES Ltd and Ryanair operations. The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and hands-on engineering expertise in a dynamic environment.

The candidate will manage maintenance tasks, lead diverse teams, ensure on-time delivery, and drive safety improvements across sites in the UK.

Qualifications

Must have proven leadership experience in aviation/engineering settings.
Strong time management with ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to report to senior management.

Responsibilities

Manage Routine Maintenance, Aircraft Incidents/AOGs and liaison with third parties.
Manpower planning, recruitment, retention and staff performance management.
Ensure spares and equipment are available at each location.
Budgeting, invoicing and contract management with external suppliers.
Conduct regular base visits and ensure regulatory compliance (UK CAA/EASA).
Supervise and mentor engineers, aircraft mechanics and apprentices.
Investigate maintenance delays and safety reports, implementing preventive actions.
