A well-established global software provider in the UK is looking for a Software Development Team Lead to oversee a small team of engineers in developing a cloud-based data integration platform. The role combines team leadership with technical ownership, focusing on building scalable Node.js and TypeScript services while ensuring security and compliance. Ideal candidates will have experience in leading engineering teams and cloud platforms, along with expertise in API integration and DevOps practices. Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS or Azure).
• API integration experience (REST / GraphQL).
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with React or frontend technologies.
• Experience with Java or Python.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 2–4 engineers.
• Own backend architecture and technical decisions.
• Build scalable Node.js / TypeScript services.
• Integrate third-party data sources via APIs.
