Job summary

e-STORAGE is seeking a Snr. Grid Compliance Manager (UK) to lead grid connection and compliance efforts for utility-scale projects. You will ensure timely, high-quality deliverables to DNOs/NESO and coordinate with internal teams and external consultants.

You will manage grid code studies, schedule testing, and provide technical guidance on BELLA/BEGA and G99 requirements. Remote work with 20% travel to project sites and client offices is expected.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electrical or Power systems.
• Chartered engineer status and IET membership.
• 5–10 years of relevant renewables grid connection experience.
• Familiar with grid connection processes and G99/Full grid code requirements.
• Experience with grid code studies and grid modeling.

Responsibilities

• Track all grid compliance deliverables and report status monthly.
• Identify changes in grid code scope and manage risks.
• Support commissioning with grid code compliance schedules and test plans.
• Attend meetings with DNOs/NESO.
• Review grid code studies and modelling.
• Engage power systems consultants as needed.
• Prepare scope of work for consultants when necessary.
• Review client technical docs during tenders and support grid code compliance.
• Assist project execution with notices related to grid scope changes.
• Coordinate with subcontractor grid compliance managers to meet contractual requirements.
• Manage OEM models and coordinate with power system engineers and model providers.
• Assist commissioning with NESO/DNO grid testing arrangements.
